Mrs. Jones began her career as a community manager for the American Residential Communities in Jacksonville, Florida. Thereafter, she worked as a senior admissions advisor at Sanford Brown College and as an account manager for Interline Brands. Having always loved baking, her hobby evolved into a business in 2002, at which point she established Edible Blessings LLC. Mrs. Jones' work at Edible Blessings LLC is now her full-time job, as she has found success creating custom cakes and desserts for clients.
Mrs. Jones has been certified in food handling and food safety by the National Restaurant Association. Notably, in 2020, her dessert company was distinguished as the Best Bakery in Jacksonville by the Best Society Jacksonville. Likewise, she earned second place for the category of Best Bakery in Jacksonville in 2019 and was a nominee for Decorator of the World's Super Exquisite Cake. In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Mrs. Jones is the author of two books, published in 2015 and 2018.
Mrs. Jones volunteers with a nonprofit organization, Icing Smiles Inc., for which she provides free custom-made cakes for families with children who are battling illnesses. Her work has been so fruitful and rewarding that she has resolved to start a nonprofit organization for Edible Blessings LLC as an extension of her labor of love for families with critically ill children.
