Treating all clients and customers like neighbors has always been important to Mrs. Frank who has found tremendous success in the real estate industry over 28 years. Her career began in 1995 as a Licensed Florida Realtor. In 1997 she moved to Northern Virginia where she continued to work with buyers, sellers, and renters until she was offered a position with Long & Foster to market an affinity program. Here Robin provided real estate seminars to credit union members of Pentagon Federal, State Department, NASA, and Library of Congress to name a few.
During these early years Robin Frank's father, Robert Brown, had begun Brown-Carrera Properties. This was a company to manage family-owned properties only. As more and more people began to move to Loudoun County in the late 1990's the need for experienced property managers grew exponentially. In 2000 Robert Brown asked his daughter to consider getting a Real Estate Brokers License and becoming the Managing Broker for a new company needed to manage properties owned by others. Robin Frank accepted this challenge and obtained her Brokers License in 2001. The same year Brown-Carrera Realty LLC was established.
Under Mrs. Frank's leadership, Brown-Carrera Realty LLC became well known for real estate management. Robert Brown was comfortable leaving the company in his daughters' capable hands when he retired many years ago. Robin continues to grow this business managing over 300 properties annually with the help of Stuart Frank, her husband of 32 years, and their dedicated Realtors and staff. In 2021 Brown-Carrera Realty was thrilled to be voted Best of Loudoun in Residential Real Estate.
Robin Frank remains an active educator with the local Real Estate Board writing multiple classes on working with renters. One class has received state accreditation and is taught four times annually. In addition, she teaches The Virginia Landlord Tenant Act to local Realtors for their continued education. Robin says she will never stop learning and holds various designations such as Pricing Strategies Advisor (PSA), Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource (SFR), and Commitment to Excellence (C2EX). Mrs. Frank has been a Notary Public since 2003 and Certified as a Remote Online Notary (RON) as well. She is proud to have earned the 2020 Educator of the Year Award and a Platinum Circle of Excellence Award from The Dulles Area Association of Realtors.
Robin Frank believes in community service and has brought that mind set to Brown-Carrera. Back in 2011 she decided to change the way the company would celebrate the holidays. She put an end to the creation and mailing of cards during the holidays and began making a $1,000 donation to a worthy cause in the name of those who do business with Brown-Carrera.
This is now a tradition. Past donation recipients include Monroe Technical School, Loudoun Hunger Relief, Children's Hospital, Backpack Buddies, Good Shephard Alliance, Servants 4 Him, Leesburg Volunteer Fire Department, The Smile Train, and Paws for Purple Hearts.
As a leader in the industry, Mrs. Frank is a member of National Association of Realtors (NAR), Dulles Area Association of Realtors (DAAR), National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), Chamber of Commerce and The Better Business Bureau where her company has consistently maintained an A+ rating.
