With over 40 years of professional experience to his credit, Mr. Herrstrom specializes in commercial and corporate real estate. He initially pursued a formal education at the Milwaukee School of Engineering, from which he obtained a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering. Thereafter, he earned a Master of Science in industrial administration from the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University. Mr. Herrstrom has also been certified as a property manager by the Institute of Real Estate Management and is a registered professional engineer in the state of California.
During the early stages of his career, Mr. Herrstrom maintained involvement as the vice president of the Wynne Jackson Inc. Realty Asset Management Company. Thereafter, he served in a similar capacity for realty groups, including the Harris Methodist Health System and ABM Facility Services. Since 2012, Mr. Herrstrom has worked on a part-time basis as an associate for the National Real Estate Standards Corporation, in addition to having consulted on behalf of commercial realtors for several years.
For over 20 years, Mr. Herrstrom has found success as the president of the LWH Services Group LLC. In this role, he performs checks and balances against the third-party property management and leasing companies hired by owners of high-rise buildings. Throughout the course of his career, Mr. Herrstrom is most proud to have successfully managed a $1.8 billion business portfolio.
Mr. Herrstrom has been the recipient of the International Award for Merit from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Likewise, for his former work as a board member of the Arlington Life Shelter, he was presented with the Director of the Year Award. He has also been active as a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Herrstrom credits his penchant for surrounding himself with people who bear a true passion for his business. Looking toward the future, he hopes to continue serving as a mentor on behalf of young engineering and business students.
