Mr. Liu initially pursued a formal education at the National Tsing Hua University in Taiwan, from which he graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science and Engineering. Thereafter, he earned a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Case Western Reserve University in 1994 and, later, undertook coursework toward a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Southern California. In 2011, Mr. Liu continued his education and obtained a Master of Business Administration in finance from Santa Clara University.
Well qualified in his field, Mr. Liu holds certification in both digital marketing and project management. He began his career as a design engineer and later advanced to managerial roles, serving in 2009 as the Director of Business Development for CyberLink. After attaining success in this role, he was further appointed to the position of Assistant Vice President of global business development in 2015. Having garnered a respected voice in his field, Mr. Liu was approached by CyberLink's Founder and CEO with a proposition to start a new venture – Perfect Corp.
Since 2015, Mr. Liu has found much success as the Chief Growth Officer and President of Perfect Corp., a multibillion dollar company, publicly listed on NASDAQ on July 2022. His areas of expertise reside in artificial intelligence, augmented reality and strategic planning. In his role, he is responsible for strategic planning, researching reports and studies, team management, business development, engineering and marketing. Due to his manifold accomplishments, he has been featured and published in numerous esteemed publications. In 2021, Mr. Liu was distinguished with the Global Top 100 Leaders in Fashion and Beauty Award. Aside from his primary vocational pursuits, Mr. Liu provides service to the California Fire Foundation, the DKMS and the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers and Cosmetic Executive Women. In accounting for his success, he credits the people who supported him along the way, particularly his mentors, teammates and family. Looking toward the future, Mr. Liu hopes to continue helping others achieve their dreams and become successful.
