Dr. Prudence Nwobi is incredibly proud of her accomplishments as a family counselor, educator and nonprofit founder.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in economics and education from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, Dr. Nwobi earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Excelsior College, a Master of Science in clinical psychology from the University of Lagos and both a Master of Business Administration in management and a Doctor of Philosophy in guidance and counseling from the University of Nigeria. She was Alumni President of University of Nigeria Nsukka New Jersey chapter for five years. During the early years of her career, she gained valuable expertise in the healthcare industry as a nurse with New York-Presbyterian Hospital and a home care nurse both in New York and New Jersey for children with disabilities. Dr. Nwobi subsequently worked as a lecturer with the University of Nigeria's College of Education for more than 15 years.
Dr. Nwobi currently excels as a pediatric nurse and family therapist with Pioneer Home Care and JSP Home Care agencies. Alongside her primary responsibilities, she serves as the founder and president of Mobi Foundation International Inc., through which she aims to better the health of those in her hometown. Dr. Nwobi also conducts two or three health mission trips per year and provides vision services as well as free glasses to those that need it, which has garnered her the reputation of "The Vision Doctor." She also served as the international coordinator of Umuada Nawfia Worldwide.
Dr. Nwobi is a member of the ACA, NJCA, NANNNA, CASSON, ADEC, and Covington Who's Who in the United States.
An expert in her field, Dr. Nwobi is affiliated with the New Jersey Counseling Association and the Nigerian Nurses Association of New Jersey, with which she has been appointed as the secretary for the past two years. Even though her career has been filled with highlights, she is incredibly proud of her accomplishments as a family counselor, educator and nonprofit founder. Looking ahead, she will be returning to Nigeria with a doctor, nurses and a pharmacist in order to further her medical missions. Furthermore, Dr. Nwobi will be having her six publications evaluated and discussed in the hopes of becoming a professor at the University of Nigeria.
