Fascinated by the inner workings of the brain and human behavior, Ms. Castelletti began her career as a Head Counselor for Catholic Charities' Camp Happiness. She subsequently received a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science from Ashland University and gained valuable industry experience as a Classroom Behavior Therapist for the Cleveland Clinic Autism Center, where she worked for almost three years. Over the years, Ms. Castelletti also worked as a Psychology Intern for the Cleveland Clinic ADHD Center for Evaluation and Treatment and earned a Master of Science in Human Services from Post University.
In recent years, Ms. Castelletti served as a Cottage Supervisor and Assistant Director for the Autism Residential Unit of Bellefaire JCB and earned a Master of Science in Clinical Counseling through Post University and John Carroll University. Additionally, she is certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) through the Cleveland Police Department and is able to write Emotional Support Animal letters as she is trained and certified through the National Association of Social Workers. Supported by years of experience in counseling, Autism, behavioral issues, anxiety, depression and more, she presently excels as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) for Counselor Lisa, LLC / deHaas Family Counseling, LLC. In this capacity, Ms. Castelletti evaluates, diagnoses and treats mental health disorders, creates treatment goals and objectives to track her clients' progress and utilizes a wide range of different therapies, including cognitive behavior therapy, narrative therapy and mindfulness.
Driven to remain aware of ongoing industry changes, Ms. Castelletti maintains her affiliation with the American Counseling Association and the American Mental Health Counselors Association. Though her career has been filled with highlights, she is most proud of the moments her clients outgrew the need of her services, having given them all the necessary tools they need to be independent. Within the coming years, Ms. Castelletti intends to grow in the profession and expand her practice.
