COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, April 11, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ok Cho has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Dr. Cho attributes her success to her supportive family and to her desire to help her community. She initially pursued a formal education at the University of Colorado at Boulder, from which she graduated with a bachelor's degree in molecular cellular developmental biology. Soon thereafter, she earned a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Colorado at Denver Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Dr. Cho garnered valuable experience as an intern pharmacist at Walgreens and UCHealth Memorial Hospital for several years. Thereafter, she was offered a position to serve as a pharmacist at Walgreens and UCHealth Memorial Hospital, roles in which she has found success since 2013. Likewise, she has worked as a clinical pharmacist and supervisor at UCHealth Memorial Hospital during this time. In her current roles, she educates discharged patients about their treatments and operates as the middleman between hospital and patient upon discharge. She also performs administrative and clinical pharmacist duties.
Dr. Cho has been a member of the Colorado Pharmacists Society, the American Pharmacists Association and the American College of Clinical Pharmacists. She is proud of having grown a pharmacy from the ground up, knowing the business-side of the industry and being able to help the community through it. In the future Dr. Cho hopes to expand upon her positions as a mentor and professor.
