Prior to embarking upon her professional path, Ms. White completed two years of college coursework at East Tennessee State University. In the years since, she has excelled as a realtor with Property Executives. Currently, she manages a portfolio of seven clients, with whom she contacts on a daily basis when anything emerges in the market in their price range. As a result of her stellar customer service, Ms. White's business is largely driven by referrals.
An expert in her field, Ms. White has been presented with an Achiever's Award for her exceptional work. She was additionally presented with a Gold Executive Award in 2003 and a Diamond Award in 2005. Ms. White also received the Southern Region Certificate of Excellence in 2007, the Silver Award for 2021, and was voted "The Most Thoughtful" in her company. In addition, she was awarded the "Colonel Aide de Camp" on June 10, 2003 by then Governor Phil Bredesen. Ms. White was also the first woman to win a Primary nomination for Congress in 1995 for East Tennessee.
She and her husband started the first "Tea Party" group in East Tennessee and had many wonderful speakers including Jennie Beth Martin who founded the Tea Party and is often seen on television along with Mark Meckler, who was one of the founders of the "Conventions of States" in addition to all of the candidates who ran for state offices including state representatives, state senators and office of the governor coming to their group to speak. They served and educated the people about those seeking elections and had classes teaching the Constitution. Ms. White was also the State Director for Rick Santorum who ran for President in 2012, the East Tennessee Coordinator for Donald J. Trump in 2016, and a Delegate to the convention in 2016 (standing beside Mae Beavers when they announced that all of Tennessee's votes were going to Donald J. Trump).
Being involved in many community aspects over the years such as the first woman on the Hawkins County Industrial Board where she recruited businesses for the county, she still counts her greatest accomplishment and privilege to be that of raising her five children in addition to four other children who came to live with her. She is married to Douglas L. White, former owner of White's Fresh Foods.
