An expert in contract management and claims resolutions, Ms. Peralta is a contracting and procurement and claim manager for INEOS Olefins and Polymers USA. To prepare for her career, she earned a Bachelor of Science in nuclear and electrical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1983. She is also a certified paralegal professional from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply. Ms. Peralta began her career as an electrical project engineer for CADAFE while living in Venezuela in 1985.
Ms. Peralta continued working in electrical engineering, advancing to leadership roles along the way, until becoming a procurement manager for Shell Project and Technology in 1996. At the same time, she was working with Shell Venezuela Oil Products C. A. Caracas until accepting a position as a condor C&P cluster manager for Shell Project and Technology in 2002. Ms. Peralta worked for the aforementioned company until 2015 when she became a WDCP supply chain and project control manager for Flint Hills Resources, with which she was promoted to a supply chain manager of large strategic capital projects in 2017.
Ms. Peralta embarked upon her present role with INEOS Olefins and Polymers USA in 2019. In this capacity, she identifies the needs for contracts in capital projects by highlighting the risks and exposures based on the contracts that the company signs with suppliers and contractors. She also develops claims resolutions and strategic plans to obtain any refunds from their disputes. In recognition for her excellent work, she was admitted to the Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide Network in 2010 and nominated one of the Top Women by Princeton Global in 2009, 2011 and 2012. Ms. Peralta was also nominated among the Top Elite International Professionals by Princeton Global.
Exercising her creative skills, Ms. Peralta authored "When God Says Keep Walking," which published with Xulon in 2014. She credits much of her success to her faith and service to God, always striving to help others as much as possible. To follow this philosophy, she is dedicated to serving her community and has volunteered with the crisis care ministry and supports the HOPE Ministry program for Lakewood Church. Ms. Peralta is also the godmother to two children living in Central America and supports an elderly woman in Guatemala.
Ms. Peralta's ultimate career goal is to open a boutique-like business so she can move to more consulting work. She intends for this to provide charity funding to establish a scholarship program for underprivileged children in Venezuela, supporting talented individuals who would otherwise not have the opportunity to attend college.
