Previously, he worked for more than two decades as the president of Drivetech Inc., a technical design and consulting company. At the start of his career, Dr. Ohm gained valuable expertise in the field as technical director with Kollmorgen, where he developed fully-digital FOC drive for PM synchronous motors and induction motors.
Prior to embarking on his professional journey, Dr. Ohm earned a bachelor's degree from Seoul National University. Following this accomplishment, he received a Master of Science in electrical engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University in 1979 and 1983, respectively.
