Mr. Reynolds is recognized as the Managing Director and Lead Portfolio Manager for the Lazard Rathmore suite of funds, at Lazard Asset Management LLC, based in New York. Aligned with his investment firm for the past 15 years, he is responsible for the oversight of ~ $4 billion in hedge fund industry assets under management, including hedged credit, capital structure, convertible+ and convertible arbitrage strategies. He is also the lead manager of the Lazard Enhanced Opportunities (LEO) Fund, which also focuses on the hedged credit and convertible arbitrage investment spaces.
Before joining Lazard Asset Management (LAM), Mr. Reynolds worked for SAC Capital as a senior portfolio manager overseeing the international convertible arbitrage strategies, at the firm. Before this, he was employed by Clinton Group, Inc., as a portfolio manager on the firm's convertible arbitrage fund. Prior to this, he was employed by Deutsche Bank (N. America) as a managing director and head of convertible securities, where he was also a member of the firm's North American Equity Management Committee. Involved in the industry since 1993, Mr. Reynolds also found success in the convertibles securities market space with UBS Securities and Merrill Lynch.
Prior to working in the investments business, given his background as an electronics and computer systems engineer, Mr. Reynolds was retained by CRN, an external public relations company to Sony Professional, North America, in a PR and media relations capacity. Mr. Reynolds followed in his father's footsteps, who briefly lived in the United States between the 1950s and 1960s and was the founder/owner of Reynolds Electronics in Ireland. Having managed Reynolds Electronics, for two years ('87 - '89) Mr. Reynolds left Ireland, in 1989, and immigrated to the United States to pursue his other dreams.

Presently active on the international council of the Global Leadership Foundation since 2018, Mr. Reynolds has also played an advisory role with the US 69th Regiment (The Fighting Irish), serving on its Advisory Board, since 2015. In addition, he continues to serve his alma mater, Trinity College Dublin, as a U.S. Advisory Board Member, since 2012, and Member of the Provost's Council, since 2020. Other civic contributions include a nine-year appointment on the Advisory Board of The Huntsman Program at the University of Pennsylvania, between 2012 and 2021, a member of the investment organization, The New York Angels, between 2014 and 2020, and a Member of GOAL (US), the Irish-founded international aid organization/charity, in the United States, between 2013 and 2017.
Mr. Reynolds achieved a BA, BAI, Engineering, Mathematics, at Trinity College Dublin, in 1986 and a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management., at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, in 1993. He was a boarding school student at Castleknock College, Dublin between 1974 and 1980, where he graduated with the Leaving Certificate. He is married with four children and currently resides in Harrison, New York.
