Mr. Witmer additionally obtained his certifications as a master scuba diver, an emergency first responder instructor trainer, an ice diver instructor trainer, and a handicapped scuba instructor, just to name a few.
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Witmer is affiliated with the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI), Scuba Diving International and Technical Diving International (SDI/TDI), Nation Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) and Divers Alert Network (DAN). Alongside his primary responsibilities, he has contributed to his community as a volunteer and organizer of the White River Cleanup. Even though his career has been filled with highlights, he is incredibly proud of teaching more than 4,000 people over the years. He also takes pride in obtaining a job as a manager of the service engineering department with General Motors despite not having a formal education.
