Nawab Fine Indian Cuisine was notably rated as the Number One Indian Restaurant in West Virginia.
CHARLESTON, WV, April 22, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Rajesh Kodali has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Serving as a systems analyst, Mr. Kodali serves on behalf of the Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC), where he is part of a team that works in data science. An expert in data mining export, he often works on multiple data requests at a time, as well as career datasets and data analysis. A nonprofit regional referral center based in Charleston, West Virginia, the CAMC has been recognized as one of the top heart programs in the country and is the only kidney transplant center in the state of West Virginia.
Two years into his career at the Center, Mr. Kodali opened his award-winning restaurant, Nawab Fine Indian Cuisine, in Charleston. A traditional Indian eatery that includes an assortment of flavorful dishes, he came of age around the kitchen, and felt compelled to bring the food of his culture to the United States. Collaborating with Gushan Kumar, who hails from 20 years of relevant industry expertise, Mr. Kodali oversees daily operations and the customer service aspects of the restaurant, as well as inventory and food quality.
In addition to his full-time commitments at the Medical Center and Nawab, Mr. Kodali has been a co-owner of Kodali Holdings LLC DBA Evans Used Cars; the company has sold over 800 cars since opening its doors in July 2019. Likewise devoted to contributing on behalf of his local community, Mr. Kodali volunteered at an orphanage in his home country of India, where he helped provide food to the children.
Mr. Kodali obtained a Bachelor of Technology in computer science at the Vellore Institute of Technology in India in 2013. He subsequently came to the U.S. as a foreign exchange student in December of that year, was accepted to Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia, where he received a master's degree in information systems, with honors, in 2016. Throughout the course of Mr. Kodali's subsequent career as a restaurateur, Nawab Fine Indian Cuisine was notably rated as the Number One Indian Restaurant in West Virginia. It has also received rave reviews on various websites, such as Tripadvisor and Yelp.
Attributing his success to hard work and discipline, Mr. Kodali was fortunate during the COVID-19 pandemic, particularly at the restaurant. Focusing on providing a made-to-order menu instead of its traditional buffet style, take-out orders began to climb sharply. He also began utilizing various food delivery platforms, such as Uber Eats, Grubhub and DoorDash to keep up with deliveries. Mr. Kodali did not have to lay off any of his employees and, despite a slight decline in sales, he was able to implement a new business model that was successful.
