Ms. Menner has accrued over 30 years of diversified experience in the field of emergency medicine, having begun her career working as a paramedic for Barnabas Health in 1989. She has been certified by the American Heart Association as an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support provider, Basic Life Support Instructor and a Pediatric Advanced Life Support provider. Likewise, she is certified as a Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support provider by the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians, and a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider by the American Association of Pediatrics. Ms. Menner holds numerous other certifications, including Advanced Burn Life Support, and several others in incident management and emergency preparedness.
Ms. Menner initially pursued a formal education at Rowan University, from which she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 1987. In 2020, she furthered her education and earned a Master of Science in Emergency Medical Services management from Columbia Southern University. Since 2020, she has been employed as a paramedic for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Prior to this appointment, Ms. Menner worked as a paramedic and preceptor for over 15 years at MONOC.
Aside from her primary vocational pursuits, Ms. Menner has devoted much of her time towards volunteering for organizations in her community including the Boy Scouts of America. As a testament to her inimitable work, she has garnered placement in various national honor societies and numerous awards. She is a member of The Order of the Sword and Shield Academic and Professional Honor Society, Omega Nu Lambda National Honor Society and Delta Epsilon Theta International Honor Society. Likewise, she has been lauded with recognition from the National Society for Leadership and Success and the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Ms. Menner has also been presented with multiple New Jersey Paramedic Team Excellence Awards and Emergency Medical Services Excellence Awards. She has also received several scouting recognitions.
Ms. Menner attributes her success to her upbringing, which taught her the importance of hard work and perseverance to get the job done. She is currently working towards accruing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. With this degree, Ms. Menner would like to continue to provide healthcare to people.
