JACKSONVILLE, FL, April 27, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dani Strano-Brandenburg has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
While coming of age in Argentina, Ms. Strano-Brandenburg frequently read the financial section of the newspaper. She was always intrigued by it, and was very disappointed by the corruption in her native country. Thus, she decided to leave Argentina and emigrate to the U.S. and tried to achieve the "American Dream." Upon her arrival more than 20 years ago, Dani knew she needed to learn the language in order to succeed. She decided to establish herself in Hollywood, Florida, and began learning English as second language while working more than 80 hours a week in retail. Her days would include only 4 to 5 hours of sleep, but Dani knew that in order to accomplish the American Dream she would have to work hard, and she did! Dani was not afraid of anything; she was hungry of success.
Although she started Accounting at the University of Buenos Aires in the late 90's, she did not finish the degree before moving to the US. Therefore, after learning academic English, she resumed her studies toward the accounting field. Dani studied at a number of higher learning institutions, during which time she earned an Associate of Arts with an emphasis on Accounting from Miami Dade College, a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the University of North Florida and a Master's Degree in Accounting from American Public University. During the earliest stages of her career, Ms. Brandenburg worked as a senior teller with Bank of America and as a senior global trading analyst with Merrill Lynch.
Over the years, Ms. Brandenburg gained valuable expertise in the finance industry as a staff accountant for Kemper, and as Accountant II for Black Knight Financial Services. Supported by her considerable knowledge, she excels today as the assistant vice president of accounting and finance for Florida East Coast Railway and Intermodal Mexico USA. In conjunction with her work, Ms. Brandenburg aligns herself with CFO Networking in order to remain aware of changes in the field.
In a career that has been filled with highlights, Ms. Brandenburg is most proud to have received her master's degree with a 3.97 GPA. She takes pride in the fact that she was able to accomplish such a feat while simultaneously caring for her child, working full time, expecting her second child, and earning a degree in a language different than her own. She remembers with tears in her eyes her beginnings in the U.S., when just asking for directions was a challenge. In accounting for her success, she largely credits her sense of enterprise and ability to overcome nearly any obstacle. Ms. Brandenburg did not have an easy life in Argentina. The economic situation and the loss of her job made her homeless for more than 3 months. When she looks back, she remembers how hard it was to sleep on the streets while still in high school. Dani has huge compassion for homeless people who try to get out of that situation. She worked very hard to overcome that situation, and her determination was the key to her success.
Ms. Brandenburg has been known for her natural born leadership skills. Since she was a child, Dani was always the team leader in any extracurricular activities. Her charisma, and her true care for others makes her a very successful leader. Dani always cares about her team, her friends and her family, and their success. She leads with the heart and will always help them to achieve their goals. She believes that leading with the heart has an immense emotional reward. Dani's motto is that how you treat people is the reflection of who you are, and there is nothing more precious than doing a favor for someone in need. She lives every day trying to make a positive impact in someone's life.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Brandenburg intends to become a certified public accountant and receive a Doctor of Business or Management in order to further advance her professional acumen.
