Janine Cataldo aims to mentor her human resource assistants into future successors and possibly become a life coach.

Driven to help others identify growth opportunities, especially those from underprivileged backgrounds, Ms. Cataldo excels as the corporate director of human resources for Total Transportation Corp., for which she oversees more than 17 companies totaling over 4,500 employees in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. In this position, she is responsible for ensuring that the various companies complied with state and federal guidelines. She also staffs human resource representatives for the aforementioned companies, maintains payroll and employee handbooks and works with attorneys regarding legal and harassment compliance and class suits.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Cataldo gained valuable expertise with a large emergency response company and a paratransit company, and in several supervisory roles. A designated employee representative, she was additionally active with Consumers Distributing, a company she helped start at the age of 16. Notably, she obtained a reasonable suspicion for drug and alcohol testing certification, an associate degree and a bachelor's degree in business management with a minor in psychology from Mercy College. For her professional achievements, Ms. Cataldo was featured in the Women's Business Journal.
Even though her career has been filled with standout moments, Ms. Cataldo is incredibly proud of being able to assist employees, especially because she works in an industry where many underprivileged are not highly compensated. After advancing through the ranks and garnering a managerial role within months, she made it her mission to help others advance in their careers. Another highlight has been experiencing the growth of Total Transportation Corp. through which she successfully established four companies since she was onboarded.
