Ashley Tibbens aspires to take Tiny Toes Dance LLC worldwide so more and more dance schools can implement her curriculum.
BERRYVILLE, VA, April 27, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Ashley Tibbens has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As the founding owner and lead teacher of Tiny Toes Dance, LLC in Northern Virginia, since 2016, Ms. Tibbens' company serves as a mobile preschool dance program that is brought to children's schools. Teaching creative movement, ballet, jazz, tap, acrobatics and hip-hop classes to girls and boys between the ages of two and 10, her inclusive program now also offers several on-site classes and virtual options with an annual recital each spring.
Passionate about teaching dance and witnessing the positive impact it has on young children, Ms. Tibbens aspires to take Tiny Toes Dance LLC worldwide so more and more dance schools can implement her curriculum. She is currently performing consulting work to provide her expertise to those interested in starting their own program.
Aside from her work at Tiny Toes, Ms. Tibbens has been the managing director of Cheers School Family, Inc., in Berryville, Virginia, since 2021 and a dance instructor for The Blue Ridge Studio for the Performing Arts in Berryville since 2018. She is also the co-founder of her nonprofit organization, Life After Miscarriage, Perinatal Loss and Stillbirth, since 2018.
Garnering former experience with an international dance studio as program creator and operations director from 2011 to 2017, Ms. Tibbens also worked for Adagio Ballet as a lead teacher in Ashburn, Virginia, from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, she was principal dancer with Dancin' Unlimited Jazz Dance Company in Fairfax, Virginia, from 2007 to 2010.
Ms. Tibbens is presently working on her first book, titled "The Young Dancer's Curriculum," which she hopes to publish soon. Giving back, Ms. Tibbens proudly supports Let's Move!, which is the former First Lady Michelle Obama's task force on childhood obesity. She was the social media manager for the Northern Virginia chapter of the MISS Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps families heal after the death of a child.
Dancing since the age of five, Ms. Tibbens later studied at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and completed various training programs to further enhance her skills. She also attended the North Carolina School of the Arts during 2004 before transferring to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she completed a Bachelor of Arts in dance in 2006.
Ms. Tibbens is a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children and the American Dance Therapy Association. Highlighting her success, she received the Loudoun County 40 Under 40 Award and the Loudoun County 100, both in 2021.
