Ms. Manansala is in her second year serving as the president for the Hawaii Pacific Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).
HONOLULU, HI, April 27, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jenny Pigao Manansala, IIDA, LEED AP ID+C, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Ms. Manansala earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in interior architectural design from California State University, Long Beach in 2000 and went on to attain certification as a LEED Accredited Professional in Interior Design + Construction. She began her professional career as an interior designer for Rothenberg Sawasy Architects in 2000. Following this period, she worked as an intermediate interior designer on behalf of Leo A Daly in 2004, and later served as a designer for KB Home in 2006. She continued her career in interior design with Gensler in 2007 and Webb Foodservice Design in 2008, after which she joined consulted with MVE and Partners Inc. in 2011, and joined Taylor Design later that same year. Ms. Manansala later moved on to work as a senior interior designer at Lionakis in 2015.
Since 2020, Ms. Manansala has maintained involvement as a senior interior designer for Stantec. An expert in interior design for healthcare institutions, she oversees project designs while assisting in the overall business development of the local office. She has received numerous awards for her work, including a Kaiser Permanente Design Excellence Award, a Commercial Architecture Design Award for AIA Orange County, a Best Healthcare Project Award for Southern California in Engineering News-Record, a Vision Design Award Healthcare Honorable Mention in Floor Focus Magazine and an Against All Odds Award for the inaugural IIDA Hawaii Pacific Chapter Ho'ohuli Design Awards. Ms. Manansala was also honored on two occasions for her design of the pediatric outdoor playroom at the Kapiolani Medical Center for Women and Children.
In addition to her main career, Ms. Manansala is in her second year serving as the president for the Hawaii Pacific Chapter of the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) which she is also a member. As part of her dedication to her field and environmental sustainability, she is also a member of the United States Green Building Council.
A naturally creative person, Ms. Manansala credits her success to her passion for design, as well as the positive relationships she has developed both professionally and personally over the years. Inspired by her mother's zeal for arts and crafts, she resolved to pursue a career in interior design after gaining familiarity with architecture. Looking toward the future, Ms. Manansala plans to continue her work and advocate for the interior design profession.
