Prior to undertaking her academic journey, Dr. Bryant served honorably in the United States Army for more than two decades. Following this period, she earned a Master of Arts in human resources management from Columbia Southern University and went on to attain a Master of Business Administration from Touro University Worldwide. Furthermore, Dr. Bryant earned a Doctor of Philosophy in human and organizational psychology from the latter institution in 2021. Well qualified in her field, she is certified in corporate training and professional education and holds an inclusive and ethical leadership certificate.
Dr. Bryant began her career as a senior human resources specialist for the Department of the Navy Office of Civilian Human Resources in 2013, for which she continues to serve. She has also functioned as a supervisory human resources specialist for staffing and placement for the United States Department of Agriculture since 2019 and a strategic staffing policy portfolio manager for the United States Department of the Treasurer since 2021. As part of her dedication to her field, Dr. Bryant is affiliated with the Society of Human Resources Management.
In addition, Dr. Bryant established a coaching business called Let's Talk About It - Behavior Coaching | Upper Marlboro (lets-talk-coaching.com). Through it, she provides confidence coaching, emotional intelligence coaching, and cognitive behavioral coaching.
Dr. Bryant is also the chief executive officer for Educate Our Youth, a nonprofit dedicated to educating the youth on climate change. In this capacity, it is her hope that young individuals who benefit from the organization's programs will continue working on behalf of the environment and will pass their knowledge on to others. Additionally, with the financial support of corporations, sponsorships can be made available to as many young people as possible so that they can help reverse the deteriorating condition of the planet.
In recognition for her service and her work, Dr. Bryant has received several federal awards throughout her career. Well regarded for her expertise in the field, she has published her dissertation, "Relieved Experiences of Federal Human Resources Professionals During the COVID-19 Pandemic" and co-authored an anthology titled "God-fident." Looking toward the future, Dr. Bryant aspires to become a member of the Senior Executive Service in federal government.
