TORRANCE, CA, April 28, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Judd Matsunaga has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With more than two and a half decades, Mr. Matsunaga has distinguished himself in legal service as the owner of Judd Matsunaga's Elder Law Services of California PC. Founded in 1996, the practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, probate, conservatorship, and Medi-Cal planning for long-term care. Committed to streamlining the process of legal counsel when his clients' parents or spouse fall ill and require nursing or long-term care, Mr. Matsunaga focuses much of his time on securing Medi-Cal payment for patients, and has successfully secured nearly 100% of these much-needed state benefits over the years, while also protecting the assets of his patrons.
In addition to overseeing his busy law practice, Mr. Matsunaga is an experienced real estate broker. Oftentimes, he works with older individuals that have inherited their parents' properties and are looking to sell because they already own their own homes. Furthermore, Mr. Matsunaga was honored to contribute several legal columns to Rafu Shimpo, a daily Los Angeles newspaper, which predominantly serves the Japanese community throughout the country.
Mr. Matsunaga previously worked as an associate attorney for Barth, Green, and Kelly, a real estate defense firm. He also garnered experience as a clerk for Magana, Cathcart and McCarthy, a law firm that specializes in personal injury and wrongful death. Prior to earning a law degree, the California native was a successful real estate broker for nearly a decade. He began by selling apartment buildings in 1980 and later relocated to Hawaii in 1989 to spearhead the development of properties for a group of Japanese investors. When the Tokyo Stock Market crashed in 1990, Mr. Matsunaga returned to Los Angeles to pursue a law degree.
Mr. Matsunaga graduated from Beverly Hills High School in Beverly Hills, California, in 1976. He subsequently received a bachelor's degree in economics at the University of California Los Angeles in 1980, a real estate broker's license in 1981, and a Doctor of Jurisprudence at the University of West Los Angeles in 1995. Aligning himself as a member of multiple industry-related organizations in support of his career, Mr. Matsunaga is active with the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the California Advocates for Nursing Home Reform, and, among others, the California Association of Realtors. His law firm is also a member of the Better Business Bureau.
For his contributions to the Boy Scouts of America, Mr. Matsunaga has been recognized with an Eagle Scout Award.
