Having begun his career as a carpenter, Mr. Glass advanced his rank in the company to foreman, superintendent, project manager and, later, the owner of various companies. With a drive for building and overseeing large projects, as well as an interest in serving as a mentor on behalf of his colleagues, he has notably accrued more than 50 years of experience in the construction industry. Mr. Glass on May 20, 2022 has retired as a project executive and senior construction manager for Concord Pacific.
In his current role, Mr. Glass oversees the building of high-rise projects in the Seattle market. He is currently involved in Seattle House, a five-year project with Concord Pacific. Valued at over $500 million, the pair of 45-storey towers will support 1,132 residential homes. During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Glass was also trusted with numerous large projects, including challenging, monumental buildings in Bellevue, Seattle and Denver.
Holding associate level degrees in business and real estate law, Mr. Glass has likewise completed coursework toward a master's degree in his field. He has been the recipient of numerous awards for his work, including the distinctions of Concrete Building of the Year from the American Concrete Institute, AIA Building of the Year and Mixed-use Project of the Year in the Northwest. Mr. Glass has been an active board member for the Associated General Contractors of America for 35 years and serves as an advisory board member for the Central Washington University Construction Management School.
