BOONTON TOWNSHIP, NJ, May 02, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- David F. Henderson has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Henderson came of age in a family that engaged in artistry as a hobby. Drawing influence from the example of his mother and two older brothers, his interest in art was spurred by a dedication to sculpting while attending elementary school, during which time he relished every opportunity to work with his hands. Mr. Henderson subsequently earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from Boston University before attending The Illustrator's Workshop.
Early in his career, Mr. Henderson excelled as a night worker at an ink factory while working days free-lancing in New York to gain valuable expertise as an illustrator. He would go on to produce publishing art for the next twenty years. Today, having transitioned from illustration to fine art, Mr. Henderson creates works for several galleries. He is the owner of the eponymous DF Henderson Fine Art, through which he has released a plethora of landscape and still life paintings for the gallery market including "Renaissance Rabbit", "Queen Anne's Lace" and "Arch Bridge, Winter." He has also painted many commissions of places and people such as "Boonton in Winter", "Gladstone Farmhouse" and "Life on the River," and gallery works like "Magnolia," "Passing Rain" and "Endless Sea."
In order to remain aware of changes in the field, Mr. Henderson aligns himself with the Society of Illustrators in New York. Due to his outstanding breadth of knowledge, he has authored "Seasons: The Intimate Landscape" through Blurb Books Australia. While his career has been filled with highlights, he is most proud of his work as a commercial artist, through which he has created advertising art, film posters for theaters, and many book covers. His painting "Boonton in Winter," which he painted as a fundraiser for the Boonton Historical Society and Museum remains on exhibit there. Looking toward the future, Mr. Henderson intends to experience the continued success of his career as an artist and craftsman.
