Before embarking on his professional journey, he pursued his medical education at the University of Ghana Medical School, where he obtained a Doctor of Medicine in 2015. Dr. Wireko found much success serving as a medical doctor in Ghana from 2017 to 2020. He was responsible for patient care and services upon admission, treatment plans, preliminary rounds, and educational conferences in this capacity.
Growing up in Ghana, Dr. Wireko was determined to contribute to his community by helping people in need of medical care; thus, he was inspired to pursue his vocational path. As a result, he is a pioneer member of His Stripes Medical group, a Christian Non-Governmental organization to improve emergency medical services and care in Ghana.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Dr. Wireko is a member of the Maryland Medical Response Corps. He attributes much of his success to his Christian faith, perseverance, dedication, and passion for medical education. Dr. Wireko is currently a resident at Howard University Hospital and an active member of the American College of Physicians and the American Thoracic Society.
