Drawing on over two decades of expertise in the field of medicine, Ms. Fuller specializes in patient access. Prior to embarking on her professional journey, she pursued an education at Jarvis Christian College, where she obtained a Bachelor of Science in chemistry, with a minor in biology, in 1985. She continued her academic efforts at the University of La Verne, earning a Master of Science in health administration in 2000. As a commitment to her field, Ms. Fuller has been active as a member with the Healthcare Financial Management Association and the Delta Sigma Theta sorority.
Ms. Fuller began her career as an admissions manager at the Midwest Regional Medical Center from 2000 to 2007, and garnered expertise as a patient access manager at the Lakeside Women's Hospital in Oklahoma City, between 2007 and 2010. She continued her vocation as a patient access manager and, subsequently, as a government programs manager, at Oklahoma University Medical Center from 2010 until 2016. Her proficiency in all aspects of her field led her to the role of a patient access director at Medical City Denton, Plano and Frisco, between 2016 and 2019. Since 2019, she has found much success as a financial services director at the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center. In this capacity, Ms. Fuller is responsible for patient billing, medical records, registration and schedule management, insurance verifications, accounts reconciliation, quality assurance of processes, productivity reporting and employee evaluations.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Fuller serves as an ordained minister and an executive director of Selah Wellness Group, a nonprofit organization designed to support the health and wellness of the uninsured, underinsured and the underserved communities. Among her professional accomplishments, she is most proud of gradually advancing in her leadership roles within various health care facilities. Proudly serving by her motto, "If you have a pulse, you have a purpose. If you have oxygen, you have options," she attributes much of her achievements to all of her mentors, her Christian faith and to her parents, whose guidance and support have been instrumental in her success. Looking toward the future, Ms. Fuller aspires to expand the scope of her career by further advancing in her field to the post of a vice president or president.
