Ms. Edmondson aims to reach more leaders in corporate America to bring awareness to the advantages of a "people-first" leadership style and "renovate" toxic leaders in the workplace.
SNELLVILLE, GA, May 06, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lisa S. Edmondson has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After earning her degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University in 1992, Ms. Edmondson began her career as a Training Coordinator for National Vision Associates, Ltd (NVAL). There, she found her passion for training, instructional design and video production while continuing to grow her skills through a series of promotions. At her departure in 2001, she led the entire Training & Development department, overseeing the annual operating budget, as well as three corporate representatives, six regional operations managers and nearly 60 field trainers. For her outstanding body of work, Ms. Edmondson was named as a national finalist by The Vision Awards for her role as the director and producer of a sales training video program for opticians. Ms. Edmondson subsequently became a principal curriculum designer for Coca-Cola Enterprises, through which she further honed her expertise in instructional design and cross-functional project management by developing training programs for New Hire Onboarding, Supply Chain - Six Sigma, Leadership Development, and enterprise-wide software implementations, to name a few.
A seasoned leader with a proven record of accomplishment in learning and development, Ms. Edmondson was instrumental in establishing and building the curriculum development department and high-stakes certification program during her tenure as director of curriculum development & certification at Infor between 2011 and 2021. Supported by her considerable knowledge and success as a people leader, she presently excels as the founder and owner of Leadership Reno, her "passion project" to help champion leadership reform in the workplace. Over the course of her career, Ms. Edmondson has earned numerous certifications in opticianry, communications, emotional intelligence, instructional design, and digital media through organizations such as IBM, the American Board of Opticianry, Auburn University, MyInnerGenius and ID9 Intelligent Design.
While her career has been filled with highlights, she is most proud of her role as a people leader. Her record of zero turnover over the last 10 years demonstrates her capacity to effectively listen to, learn from, lead and develop her employees, resulting in a high-performing, innovative team of design-thinking professionals who consistently produced quality training content for SaaS enterprise solutions. Looking toward the future, Ms. Edmondson aims to reach more leaders in corporate America to bring awareness to the advantages of a "people-first" leadership style and "renovate" toxic leaders in the workplace.
