FRESH MEADOWS, NY, May 10, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dana Lyn Arnone, RN, has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Well regarded in the health care industry, Ms. Arnone has distinguished herself as a tenured registered nurse and entrepreneur. After more than three decades in the field caring primarily for the elderly population, she established Reliance Home Senior Services, a licensed home health agency, in 2017. Ms. Arnone employs a team of well-qualified home health aides to care for her patients. Among the company's many services, Reliance offers daily activity supervision, personal care and social work to help patients maintain their independence in the comfort of their own homes.
After three years in business, Ms. Arnone established All Things Homecare in 2020, a nonprofit organization that specializes in workforce development for home health aides. Motivated by her desire to change the perception of home health care workers and the importance of the field in which they serve, she also wanted to raise awareness for essential workers as part of the nursing continuum. As the organization continues to grow, Ms. Arnone aspires to begin offering other services, including free English classes for non-native speakers to assist in gaining employment, as well as free transportation.
Ms. Arnone also found success as the founder of Essential Transport New York Inc. in 2022. A mobility service provider that is similar to Uber and other rideshare companies, her company is specific to local homecare workers that need access to transportation to and from work.
Among her many accomplishments as a health care professional, Ms. Arnone had the opportunity to host her own radio show on BBM Talk Radio in 2018, titled "All Things Homecare with Dana Arnone." Featuring numerous guests over the course of 12 on-air shows, she educated the audience about the daily routine of overseeing a home care agency, the many challenges of in-home health care, and many other relevant topics. With the success of the radio show, it has transitioned to All Things Home Care with Dana Arnone, RN TV show on 12 News Plus. Ms. Arnone has also collaborated with Farmingdale State College in Farmingdale, New York. As a part of its new curriculum, nursing students can complete their rotations at her home health agency, Reliance Home Senior Services.
Ms. Arnone studied at Suffolk County Community College in Selden, New York. She has served as a registered nurse since the early 1990s. To achieve her professional goals, Ms. Arnone maintains her affiliation with the 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East, a local health care union in the U.S. In light of her achievements, she was named as the Businessperson of the Year in Long Island, New York.
