Since purchasing the company in 2021, he has attained a 34 percent rise in revenue and a 70 percent growth in sales.
During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Bloom gained valuable professional knowledge as a Shift Manager with Florida Power and Light, the owner and operator of Mosquito Joe, a mechanical engineer with Lockheed Martin, and an attractions service manager and mechanical engineer for Walt Disney World. In these capacities, he has honed his expertise in management, overseeing up to 800 employees at a time with Florida Power and light, 40 staff and 70 students at Lockheed Martin, and more than 40 mechanics at Walt Disney World. Additionally, Mr. Bloom became a Top 25 Percent territory performer with Mosquito Joe and eventually sold the company for more than 1.5 times its market value.
Well regarded as an expert in his field, Mr. Bloom holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Florida International University. In order to remain aware of industry changes, he aligns himself with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. For his outstanding body of work, Mr. Bloom graduated, summa cum laude, from Florida International University, through which he also earned the FIU Leadership Award, and was ranked #1 in the MMAE Department at the University of Central Florida.
Although his career has been filled with highlights, Mr. Bloom is most proud to have distinguished himself as the youngest supervisor and first field engineer hired by Walt Disney World, as well as one of the fastest to be promoted during his time working in nuclear power. Once he entered the field of commercial nuclear power, he became one of six employees to be highly ranked out of a thousand employees. He is also a Nationally Certified high performance driving instructor and spends his weekends at the race track teaching students high speed car control. Looking toward the future, Mr. Bloom aims to double his current company's revenue over the next 5 years.
