Between 2011 and 2015, Mr. Hohmann managed a $30 million budget and $17 million endowment, increased the university's acreage by 100 percent and successfully negotiated a dormitory purchase that saved $3.5 million.
During an earlier stage of his career, Mr. Hohmann gained valuable expertise in the field as the director of finance and operations for St. Francis High School. Likewise, he served as an accountant for the Jewish Federation of Louisville and in the financial management program at GE Appliances. An expert in his field, Mr. Hohmann holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Boston University's Questrom School of Business, a Master of Business Administration in entrepreneurship from the University of Louisville and a Master of Arts in pastoral care from Spalding University.
Mr. Hohmann has also received certifications through Harvard University Institute for Education Management and Goodwill Industries International. In order to remain aware of changes in the field, he aligns himself with the Louisville Business First Leadership Trust as a contributing writer and contributes to his community through the St. John Center, the Rotary Club of Louisville, the Louisville Memorial Auditorium and St. Francis School.
Due to his professional achievements, Mr. Hohmann has received numerous accolades. In addition to being named as a Best in Finance honoree through Louisville Business First in 2020, he received the CFO of the Year Award from Business First in 2014 and graduated from Goodwill Industries International CEO Executive Development Program in 2022.
