In the course of her professional vocation, Atty Kima worked under the banner of Kima & Associate, a limited liability Company which she created to serve as the holding umbrella for other different entities. Her main areas of practice include Immigration Law; Real Estate and International Business Consulting. The immigration practice assists clients with both the immigrant and nonimmigrant applications with the goal always to help keep families together.
The Real Estate team handled both residential and commercial closings and transactions; doing some real estate sales; and as a mortgage assistant, and maintains that there is yet a deal that her office cannot salvage. Working under ComeUnity Builders, the real estate desk focuses on helping build communities one house at a time; encouraging homeownership along with the business aspect of building and growing wealth in property enhancement. Under the banner of ABC Group, she is engaged in international work and travels, assisting businesses around the world to partner with and do business together; organize international exchange business missions in different countries, mostly in the petroleum industry; and where she serves on the Board of Camtraco Enterprises for over ten years.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy and capacity building, Attorney Kima is engaged in volunteer and pro bono work, in non-profit organizations; governmental and private business, encouraging democratic governance; offers free legal consultation online; and also volunteers her time and services in other ways, including Court Companion for female victims of abuse to provide support in understanding the legal process; advocates for basic human rights and welfare of the underprivileged; assists as a substitute teacher with the Virginia Beach City Public Schools; as election observer and election monitor and democratic governance; and accepts speaking engagements as presenter at various conferences and seminars; and as a community coordinator at a local Program of Academic Exchange Organization, that locates families to host foreign international students who come to attend school in the US.
Well regarded for her contributions to the field, attorney Kima has received various awards, including the Top Attorneys of North America Award and multiple inclusions with the International Who's Who of Professionals and the International Who's Who Historical Society, to name only a few. Among her professional accomplishments, she is most proud of her work as an immigration attorney in keeping families together; for expanding her practice yet again, into a new area of Cyber Security, which will now offer new prospects and opportunities; and also her volunteer work in her local community. She attributes much of her success to her empathetic, inquisitive, humanitarian and objective personality, as well as to her family for loyalty and unwavering support throughout the years.
