An expert in logistics management and organization, Ms. Holliday has distinguished herself as a skilled administrator and event planner for several years. To prepare for her career, she earned an Associate of Science in accounting from Cape Fear Community College in 2012 and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2016. During this accomplishment, she began her career as an events and stewardship assistant for the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2014.
Starting in 2017, Ms. Holliday served as a communication specialist for UNC Health Care, and later worked as a training event planner during the following year. Since 2020, she has served as a training coordinator on behalf of the Behavioral Health Springboard, a part of the School of Social Work at UNC-Chapel Hill. In this capacity, Ms. Holliday develops and leads a team of event planners, overseeing live and virtual trainings from the planning stage to execution. She also provides assistance to the director and other within the department as needed. To gain further expertise in her field, Ms. Holliday attained a Master of Business Administration from UNC-Wilmington in 2021.
In recognition of her excellent work on behalf of the university, Ms. Holliday was honored with an Above and Beyond Award from the School of Social Work in 2022. Previously, she was recognized with the Lake Family Travel Award in Business in 2021 during her graduate program at UNC-Wilmington. During her tenure, Ms. Holliday has also led the successful transition of in-person training programs to online learning and an initiative to improve the systems and processes of Behavioral Health Springboard training events planning.
A naturally resilient and hardworking person, Ms. Holliday has distinguished herself as the first in her family to graduate from college. Drawing strength through her natural tenacity, she persisted through numerous challenges throughout the course of her career, and is committed to serving as a positive role model for her nieces and nephews. Looking toward the future, Ms. Holliday hopes to establish her own business and contribute more to the local community.
