After earning a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Wagner College, Dr. Morelli began his career with Colgate Palmolive. Over the years, he found success within the organization, becoming a manager for physical distribution, a manager for corporate finance customer accounting and as associate director for customer accounting/customer service. During his time at Colgate Palmolive, Dr. Morelli earned a Master of Business Administration in finance and management from Wagner College and a Doctorate in Professional Studies in economics marketing and information systems from Pace University.
Between 1990 and 2020, Dr. Morelli gained valuable expertise in the field of information technology as the director of global information technology and vice president of global information technology for Colgate Palmolive, and senior vice president of operations and the chief information officer at Movado Group Inc.
While at Movado Group Inc., he was appointed an officer of the company. He is the founder of Morelli and Associates. Dr. Morelli was affiliated with Duke University's marketing research lab in the very early days of artificial intelligence/expert systems initiatives. He also was a member of the Enterprise Software Implementation Advisory Committee for the U.S. Department of Defense. He was a business instructor at Wagner College.
Alongside his business responsibilities, Dr. Morelli serves as a Eucharistic minister at St. Augustine's Parish. He is also a Knight of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem.
Throughout his career, Dr. Morelli has achieved much, leading several global implementations of enterprise software, streamlining various operational processes and improvements in customer service. In light of his outstanding body of work, Dr. Morelli accepted several accolades through InformationWeek 500 as well as the Chairman's You Can Make a Difference Award from Colgate Palmolive.
