La'Shara Andrews is a wife and mother of two children and an aspiring 44-year-old female actress who have been in many school-based productions since the age of six and always held the lead role while growing up in South Jamaica Queens in the 90's. La'Shara was chosen to represent her school district in a storytelling contest and even performed a Black history celebration piece for former Mayor David Dinkins. La'Shara did obtain representation with a company called "Actors Rep" and was called to auditions for many roles and landed a role in the Howard Stern movie "Private Parts" as an extra.
La'Shara attended Hillcrest High School in Queens, New York and majored in theater arts. She wrote a one-act screenplay as an assignment and her play was so well-received that it was picked to be performed by other students in front of the entire school. As the years progressed La'Shara became a mother of two, placing her acting career on hold. However, she did perform when requested at church functions, and many celebratory events. Soon La'Shara became creative and began marketing herself as a Mistress of Ceremonies. La'Shara hosted at weddings, baby showers, birthday parties, bridal showers, etc. She would use her craft as an actress and get into character and host the event based on the style and crowd.
Leveraging her educational background and life experiences, La'Shara currently has ongoing podcasts called Vanilla La Vibes which can be heard on Spotify, Google Podcasts, Radio Public Anchor, etc. The podcasts discuss an array of interesting topics regarding society, and offer motivational, informative and enlightening episodes that are impactful and moving. She provides a voice for others who are frequently too afraid to speak out. She is also currently writing a book. La'Shara feels this is the right time to revisit her dream and finally conquer her passion for becoming an actress. With all of her life experiences as well as working with various populations, she has acquired the traits of being analytical and very observant of emotions. This can help increase the talent she already possesses and prepare her for a new and exciting chapter in her life.
Since founding her podcast, La'Shara has gained many followers throughout the country and abroad in such countries as Indonesia and Germany. Looking toward the future, she is passionate about continuing to serve as a voice for others, while also growing in her profession.

CASES serves as a nonprofit provider of alternative sentencing programs for court-involved persons. Passionate about making a difference in her local community, she has been working in the non-profit sector which includes homeless, domestic violence veterans and mental health populations. Although these jobs were rewarding because she was in the field of helping others, her passion has always been to be an actress.
