Robert Joseph Nobile is a successful special education teacher for Orr Academy High School, where he teaches mathematics, science and computer skills.

A dedicated mentor on behalf of the youth of Chicago, Mr. Nobile has served as a teacher and community leader for more than 15 years. To prepare for his teaching career, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in urban youth social work from the Moody Bible Institute. Following this accomplishment, he started working at Orr Academy High School, and attained a Master of Education in special education from Northeastern Illinois University in 2007. This led him to become a successful special education teacher for Orr Academy High School, where he teaches mathematics, science and computer skills. Mr. Nobile is also part of the instructional leadership team at the school, which meets with the department head twice each month.
In addition to his main career endeavors, Mr. Nobile has authored a biography, "The Reluctant Messenger," in 2008. In 2010, he published "Lost Souls: Life on the Westside of Chicago," a book that highlights the lives of teenagers he has met throughout the course of his professional journey.
Realizing that his passion for teaching went beyond the classroom, Mr. Nobile and his wife established a neighborhood business, Kingdom Property Acquisition and Development LLC. The organization, in partnership with a local school, seeks to offer mentorship services for community youth by introducing them to the construction industry. To expand upon his goals with the organization, Mr. Nobile became a general contractor with the city of Chicago and is licensed to teach construction and entrepreneurship throughout Illinois.
Looking toward the future, Mr. Nobile plans to continue working with the Orr Academy High School and availing himself on behalf of his students. He also intends to expand the courses offered at his business to include introduction to business and classes in home designs, landscaping, floor plans and creating blueprints for his students to learn fundamental skills in construction.
