Looking toward the future, Mrs. Hamer-Boddy plans to continue to develop her school and offer more classes aside from the certified nursing assistant training program.

An expert in mentoring nursing professionals, Mrs. Hamer-Boddy has been a dedicated nurse and educator for more than 25 years. To prepare for her career in health care, she earned an Associate of Nursing in 1997. Well qualified in her profession, she also holds an Executive Director's License. While pursuing her education, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant from 1995 to 1997. Following her graduation, she started working as a Licensed Practical Nurse in 1997.
During this time, Mrs. Hamer-Boddy also started a role as the Assistant Director for Foxbridge Assisted Living and Memory Care. In this position, she ensures the nurses at the facility are governed by the state regulations and are taking proper care of their residents. She also works on scheduling and training, guiding new hires through their orientation process. To further her expertise in the nursing field, she attained a bachelor's degree from the University of Phoenix in 2016.
Since 2022, Mrs. Hamer-Boddy has been the Executive Director for Training Hearts Academy LLC. In this capacity, she trains 10 to 25 students at each facility to prepare them to work in assisted living facilities or clinics as certified nursing assistants. Her goal is to help potential nurses embark upon their professional journeys. To remain aware of developments affecting her field, she is a member of the Nurses Association of Mississippi and the National Black Nurses Association.

She aspires to offer medical assistant classes, licensed practical nursing classes and massage therapy courses. Additionally, she is currently pursuing a program to attain her degree in registered nursing, BSN, from Arkansas State University.
