Leading a distinguished career in accounting for more than 40 years, Mr. Kendrick is presently representing United Cleanup Oak Ridge (UCOR) as the organization's controller. Joining the company in 2012, which serves to safely deactivate and demolish former nuclear facilities, including the U.S. Department of Energy's (DOE) Oak Ridge Reservation in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, he is responsible for overseeing all accounting procedures for its two partners, including monthly financials, payroll for approximately 700 employees, benefits accounting and indirect budgeting. Mr. Kendrick also provides forecasting for the chief executive officer, frequently interacts with the DOE and its staff members regarding various matters and serves as a member of the benefits and investments committee, which oversees all welfare, pension and 401K programs for UCOR.
Inspired by his father, who also worked in accounting, Mr. Kendrick graduated from Lipscomb University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting in 1978 and was immediately recruited by the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) where he served in various positions, including as the director of accounting and the director of business analysis before being promoted to deputy chief financial officer. He was subsequently named chief financial officer of UT-Battelle LLC, which is a private, nonprofit organization that is responsible for managing and operating the ORNL on behalf of the DOE. Mr. Kendrick was affiliated with the laboratory for nearly 35 years before being acquired by UCOR.

Over the years, he has also demonstrated a strong work ethic and good communication skills, which have earned him respect from others throughout the industry. A collegiate golfer, Mr. Kendrick received credentials as a certified public accountant and is also very active in his church.
Known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, Mr. Kendrick has volunteered his time coaching youth sports and was notably responsible for establishing a golf program at a local private high school, which has provided several scholarships to students over the years.
To commemorate his accomplishments, Mr. Kendrick has been the recipient of numerous performance and leadership awards from the ORNL. Looking toward the future, Mr. Kendrick envisions retiring soon and spending more time with his wife and extended family.
