Prior to embarking upon his professional journey, he earned a bachelor's degree from Southern Arkansas University. While pursuing his education, he began his career as a driller for Reliance Well Service in 2003. Following his graduation, Mr. Hyman became an environmental, health and safety manager for SRP Environmental in 2009.
In 2013, Mr. Hyman secured a role as a staff HSE coordinator and industrial hygiene manager for Southwestern Energy, with which he worked until 2017. To gain further expertise in his field, he attained a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from Montana Technological University. Well qualified in his area of expertise, he has also been certified as an industrial hygienist from the American Board of Industrial Hygiene/Board for Global EHS Credentialing and as a safety professional by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals.
Upon rejoining SRP Environmental in 2017, Mr. Hyman advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, beginning as the director of operations and rising to the position of chief operating officer in 2020. Utilizing his technical capabilities and proven leadership to foster professional growth and education opportunities amongst his team, Mr. Hyman accepted the role of chief executive officer in 2022. SRP Environmental notably provides health, safety and environmental consulting services from a variety of experts, including professional engineers, toxicologists, certified industrial hygienists, and certified safety professionals. Leveraging this accumulated expertise, the company supports its clients in matters concerning human health and environmental sustainability.
As part of his career, Mr. Hyman co-authored "Working Together to Prevent Worker Exposures during Gauging and Sampling Activities," which was published with the Society of Petroleum Engineers. He also serves as a council member for the National Occupational Research Agenda - Oil and Gas Council, as an advisory board member for Odessa College and has been a member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association since 2016.
In accounting for his success, Mr. Hyman credits the influence of his parents, who instilled within him a diligent work ethic while coming of age, as well as the continued support from his wife and son.
