ST. PAUL, MN, June 22, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Joyce Lynne Lacey has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
After witnessing her mother suffer to a great extent in a fraudulent, for-profit, abusive guardianship/conservatorship and in her loving memory, Ms. Lacey established the June Lynne Lacey Foundation, which serves vulnerable adults and children, the elderly, disabled and Veterans. The Foundation provide meals, groceries, necessities, clothing, and holiday gifts. It also provides accessible playground equipment for physically challenged children and scholarships for graduating seniors. During the pandemic, the Foundation held numerous drive-by birthday salutes. Through the Foundation, Ms. Lacey aims to convey a message that precious, competent human beings should never be placed in Probate Court, a court meant for property, thus rendering them merely as a piece of property, with no human rights. This is modern day slavery! All their life savings, property and identity is taken from them. It is criminal, but made legal through the Probate Court system. The June Lynne Lacey Foundation has been trying, for the past three years, to get a Bill passed to protect the rights of those in guardianships and conservatorships, but is fighting an uphill battle, as there is so much money involved in this corrupt operation.
Alongside her work with the June Lynne Lacey Foundation, she also serves as a pastor for Joyce Lacey Ministries. She previously worked on more than 25 feature films, as a broadcast journalist, educator, model and as Assistant to the Executive Producers of Comedy Central's show "Let's Bowl." A Wall Street Journal, USA Today and Barnes & Noble bestselling author, Lacey also serves as the Vice President of Outreach for the Navy League of the United States, Minnesota Council.
An expert in her field, Ms. Lacey earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Minnesota, Morris and an Associate of Arts Degree from Minnesota State University in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. She also received a Degree from Lutheran Brethren Seminary. Known for her contributions as a civic-minded citizen, she gives back to her community as the Vice President of Media Relations for the Submarine League, Sons of Norway Treasurer, Northwest Minnesota Synod Council Assembly and serves on the Executive Committee for Youth with the American Legion Auxiliary. To commemorate her accomplishments, she has been honored with the Freedom Resource Center Leadership Award, the KSTP Everyday Hero Award, the Eleven Who Care Award from KARE11, and the WCCO Volunteer of the Year Award. Additionally, Ms. Lacey has been recognized by her community with the St. Paul Saints Community Service Award and the Minnesota State Fair 50 Year Award.
Ms. Lacey has volunteered with the MS Society for over thirty years, served on the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation Race for the Cure Steering Committee, the American Cancer Society Relay for Life Leadership Team, co-chaired both the Strides for Stroke Walk & Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation Midwest Walk and Roll with her mother, served on the Alzheimer's Memory Walk Committee for years, volunteered with the American Diabetes Association Walks and Expo, worked on the MDA and Children's Miracle Network Telethons, entertained for the annual Jingle Bells telethon, helped with the Leukemia Society Light the Night Walk and Cystic Fibrosis Climb for the Cure, as well as the American Heart Association Walk.
Ms. Lacey attributes her success to her faith. It sustains her in discouraging times and gives her the strength to carry on. In a career filled with highlights, she also attributes her successes to the example set by her amazing mother. She considers herself so very blessed to have had such an extraordinary mother and believes that the Foundation's work may prove to be her most notable achievement, as it is exposing the problem of abusive, fraudulent, for-profit guardianships and conservatorships. She is determined to educate the public about this issue and intends to get a Bill passed that would protect vulnerable adults and children, the elderly, disabled and our Veterans who are in guardianship, in order to prevent others from suffering like her mother did.
Her motto is "Never give up hope. God loves you."
