RICHARDSON, TX, June 23, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John McCure has been included in Marquis Who's Who. An expert in system engineering, Mr. McCure has served as a leader in the industry for more than 40 years. To prepare for his career, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in Circuits and Mathematics in 1976 and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering in Controls and Computer Engineering in 1978, both from the University of Louisville.
Before pursuing his education, Mr. McCure served as a mainframe specialist for the United States Marine Corps from 1972 to 1974. Following his service and academic accomplishments, he began his career working with Texas Instruments to add Maverick missiles on NATO planes. Following the conclusion of this role, he worked with Northrop Grumman in the defense systems division for more than a decade.
During his tenure at Northrup, Mr. McCure attained a Master of Business Administration in Corporate Management from the University of Chicago in 1989. As part of his dedication to his field, he became a member of the Scientific Research Society of North America and the Commonwealth of Kentucky Engineering Office.
Mr. McCure continued his career as the director of technology for Electrospace Systems Inc. in 1993 and the senior manager of system engineering for Intervoice. In 1995, he became the chief delivery officer and branch manager for Decision Consultants where he remained until 2000. From 2000 to 2008, Mr. McCure focused on electronically integrating military aircraft and armored vehicles while serving as a consultant to many top aerospace/aviation companies including Northrop Grumman, Lockheed Martin, The Boeing Company, Gulfstream, and Curtiss-Wright. He was the senior designer on the F-35, worked on the control system for the F-22, senior designer and integrator for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, and a glass cockpit upgrade for the Cobra Gun Ship, to name just a few. His behavioral algorithm contribution to the next generation Gulfstream required that almost 500 subsystems work seamlessly together; there are not many people who can do that work. He subsequently accepted a role as the vice president of engineering and the chief technology officer for Rampart Global Inc. in 2008. In 2014, Mr. McCure took a role as the chief executive officer for Big Data Masters.
Since 2020, Mr. McCure has served as the vice president of system engineering for MachineSense. Throughout the course of his career, he is proud to have designed and built the world's first interferometric radar and automated the first deep well drilling rig for a North Sea platform. He also designed, built and demonstrated a functional rail gun in 1977. Looking toward the future, Mr. McCure intends to continue his development of model-based systems engineering.
