Passionate about serving her community, Ms. Wesolowski works diligently to inspire others to make positive changes in their lives. To prepare for her career in the field, she earned a Master of Healthcare Administration and Business Management, as well as a Master of Science in clinical counseling and mental health services from the University of Phoenix. Well qualified in her profession, Ms. Wesolowski attained certifications in advanced leadership, executive leadership and the foundations of leadership, and as a nursing assistant and practical nurse.
Ms. Wesolowski began her career as a nursing assistant, after which she embarked on her leadership roles at the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS). She presently serves as the VP of Membership – University of Phoenix chapter. In this capacity, she inducts members and encourages them to become leaders in their own right.
Furthermore, she assists at the executive level of the organization, creating events, securing speakers for engagements and helping alumni as needed. Ms. Wesolowski also conducts outreach work for members, resolving conflicts as they arise, while handling presidential duties when necessary. She also serves as the head of the Hawaii Division of Aunts and Uncles for America (www.auntsandunclesforamerica.org). She is in the final stages of authoring her first book.
Ms. Wesolowski is looking to get involved in local politics to change policies for more accessible care.
In addition to her primary endeavors, Ms. Wesolowski assists special education supervisors and families with special needs children in Hawaii. She has lent her aid to multiple in-school community agencies, including HOSA, Psi Chi, ASDC, the Golden Key Society, and the local sociology club. Her goal for her career and life has ultimately been to improve and exert a positive impact on her community, motivated by a determination to overcome any setbacks along the way. In recognition of her overcoming adversity in her own life, Ms. Wesolowski was honored with a Women's Soroptimist Award.
Ms. Wesolowski, the proud mother of four, credits her success not only to her determined nature, but also to the support she received from her husband, who has been the anchor of her life for more than a decade. Looking toward the future, she plans to create her own orphanage and crisis shelter for those living with special needs in Hawaii. To this end, she aspires to become a professor of psychology, counseling and health care. Ultimately, Ms. Wesolowski intends to provide much-needed resources to various individuals and families on the island, which have been lacking in the region for more than 20 years.
