Dr. Youssef presently excels as a doctoral researcher at Grand Canyon University
FORT WAYNE, IN, June 27, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Hossam "Sam" Youssef, PhD, PsyThD, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. After earning a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy from Cairo University in 1987, Dr. Youssef received a Master of Science in neurological rehabilitation and physical therapy from the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University in 1994. During the early stages of his career, he worked as owner, founder, manager and lead consultant for Alternative Therapies Center. Likewise, Dr. Youssef served as clinical director of Perfect Diet Center, as a senior home care physical therapist for Almost Family/Angels of Mercy and as a home health physical therapy case manager for Gentiva Health Services. For five years, he was also a member of the adjunct faculty at Cairo University, where he taught courses on health care and therapy strategies.
Throughout the last five years, Dr. Youssef has gained valuable expertise in case management, physical therapy and business with such institutions as BrightStar Care, Healing Light Holistic Center, Healing Hands Physical Therapy, St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Elite Home Health Care, Interim HealthCare Inc., Michiana Physical Medicine and the Healing Light Teletherapy Center. Drawing on his considerable experience, Dr. Youssef presently excels as a doctoral researcher at Grand Canyon University, where he is studying implicit bias in inclusion and diversity matters, and as chief counselor of theocentric and spiritual psychology for The Higher Mind Center.
To further his expertise, Dr. Youssef has received several additional degrees, including a bachelor's degree and master's degree in metaphysical sciences through the University of Metaphysics, a diploma in hypnotherapy from the Hypnosis Motivation Institute, a natural health consultant diploma from the Stratford Career Institute and doctoral degrees in clinical pastoral counseling, metaphysical parapsychology and theocentric psychology from the University of Sedona. Currently, he is studying at Grand Canyon University, through which he aims to receive a Doctor of Philosophy in cognitive psychology in 2024.
Alongside his numerous degrees, Dr. Youssef holds certificates in health care innovation, Jungian analysis, behavioral therapy, life coaching, spiritual counseling and Reiki services through Harvard Business School, New Skills Academy, the Centre of Excellence for Academic Training, The American Institute of Health Care Professionals and the National Healing Society. To remain aware of developments affecting his field, Dr. Youssef aligns himself with the American Psychological Association, the American Association of Christian Counselors, the American Physical Therapy Association and the American Metaphysical Doctors Association.
Devoted to his community, Dr. Youssef has contributed to the Association for Democratic Reforms as a human rights officer, as well as Our Hope Lutheran Church and School, where he served as teaching team lead. Known for his scholarly output, he has authored several publications, including "Spirituality and Psychology," which was released in April of 2022, "Reincarnation and Secret Life Cycle," "The Arabian and Muslim Mind Revolution," "Human Rights and the Conflict in Egypt" and "The Human Bio Energy and The Healing Power."
To commemorate his accomplishments, Dr. Youssef received the Best Clinician of the Year Award through Gentiva Health Care in 2018, and an Outstanding Therapist and Career Achievement Award through the Center of Excellence in London in 2020 and 2021, respectively. In a career filled with highlights, he is most proud of helping others live happier and healthier lives. Looking toward the future, he intends to receive his Doctor of Philosophy from Grand Canyon University and follow in the footsteps of Carl Jung and William James.
