Drawing on more than 40 years of practiced engineering expertise, Mr. Glickman excels as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of J4 Capital LLC, a trailblazer in artificial intelligence. Backed by his considerable expertise in artificial intelligence, stochastic computation, and image processing, he developed the first artificial superintelligence in 2005, and the first artificial general intelligence in 2019. Earlier in his career he gained valuable expertise by developing early fingerprint scanners, computer security, and cybersecurity, and worked with advanced computing technologies for NASA, GM, Ford, and others. Before embarking on his professional journey, Mr. Glickman earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1982. Outside of his primary responsibilities he has dedicated time and resources serving as the past Chair of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, Seattle Section where he is a senior member and has contributed to the Technical Committee on Semantic Computing; and as the past-President of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Puget Sound Region where he contributed to the Forensics Working Group and the Student Advisory Committee. He is also a member of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence. Mr. Glickman currently serves as a board member for the Institute for Data Intensive Research in Astrophysics and Cosmology for the Large Synoptic Survey Telescope of the Vera C. Rubin Observatory.
Aside from his primary vocational pursuits, Mr. Glickman has devoted much of his time to civic duties on behalf of his community, serving as a member of the Washington State Forensic Investigations Council; as past Chair of the Hood River, Oregon Planning Commission; and as past City Council Member and past Deputy Mayor of the City of Woodinville, Washington.
