A third-generation truck driver, Mr. DeTrant began doing off-road jobs in his youth with his father and mentor, Dale Brady. By the time he was 21, he had worked for several different companies where he garnered extensive expertise in all areas of the business. Mr. DeTrant also notably served as an operations manager for a local Northern California trucking company for 20 years and briefly owned his own business, Fast Lane Trucking, before founding his current transportation company.
Looking toward the future, Mr. DeTrant plans to continue working and maintaining Vince DeTrant Trucking Inc. until he reaches the age of 70. Known for his contributions as a civic-minded citizen, he frequently offers free hauling services in his spare time.
A native of California, Mr. DeTrant graduated from Mission San Jose High School in Fremont in 1974. To commemorate his accomplishments in the field, he was honored with a Challenge Coin for Excellent Service for servicing the Camp Fire in Paradise, California.
He has been married to Marlene V. Serianni for 49 years.
