CLEARWATER, FL, July 07, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lawrence "Lorenzo" Samuel Wiley has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Drawing on over six decades of diverse expertise, Mr. Wiley has specialized in chemistry, business law and as an author of fiction and nonfiction literature under the pen name Lorenzo Samuel. Prior to embarking on his professional journey, he pursued an education at Case Western Reserve University, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in chemistry in 1960. He continued his academic efforts at Whittier Law School, earning a Juris Doctor in 1988. As a commitment to his field, Mr. Samuel was active with several industry-related organizations, including the American Bar Association, American Chemical Society and the American Society for Quality Control. He is a founding member of the Society of Research Administrators.
Mr. Wiley began his vocation as an industrial chemist at FMC Corporation, a chemical and agricultural sciences company, from 1961 to 1966 and, subsequently, as a researcher and college administrator at the State University of New York at Buffalo and Washington University in St. Louis. Between 1988 and 1998, he served as an attorney before pursuing his profession as an author since 1997. He has published one non-fiction and two fiction books titled, "Shrink Assault: A Bitter Humor Look at the Psychs' Evil Empire" in 2000, "A Storm of Flowers" in 2018 and "Eve of Valor: 25 Tales" in 2020.
Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Mr. Samuel has contributed his time and services to the Arbor Day Foundation and the United Nations membership organization. Among his professional accomplishments, he is most proud to have gained the writing skills necessary to enable him to produce sellable publications. Furthermore, he is gratified to have hailed from a broad background, which bequeathed him with the opportunity to devise interesting, well-written stories.
Mr. Samuel attributes much of his success to his persistence and the technical grounding that he became accustomed to while working in the fields of chemistry and law. Looking toward the future, he will finish his fourth book, a three-part novella tentatively titled "Mother Eve."
