Mrs. Hurd-Runcie plans to become a professor of business management after earning a Doctor of Business with a concentration in entrepreneurship.

Mrs. Hurd-Runcie earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science and information technology from the City College of New York and went on to attain an executive Master of Business Administration from Pace University. She has since garnered a reputation as the president and chief executive officer of PaNash Eurosoul, currently known as PaNash Eurosoul Catering and Events. In addition to being the owner of PaNash Eurosoul Catering and Events, Mrs. Hurd-Runcie is also the CEO of Golden Krust in Queens Village and the CEO of Runway Café located in JFK Airport.
In recognition of her expertise, Mrs. Hurd-Runcie was bestowed with a Business Leadership Award from Councilman Donovan Richards. She also received an award for Best Design from the Queen's Chamber of Commerce in 2014 and earned the Queen's Ambassador Award in 2019. Mrs. Hurd-Runcie prides herself on managing her business well, providing high quality work, and collaborating with her community. She credits much of her success to her propensity for hard work.
In addition to her primary career endeavors, Mrs. Hurd-Runcie serves as the founder for the Alexander Youth Etiquette Success organization. She also serves as the chairperson for MARLS NYC organization, which helps assist black and brown businesses in the Queens community. Mrs. Annette Hurd-Runcie also works with City Harvest to contribute to her community. She was inspired to pursue a career in entrepreneurship by her father and intended to use her skills and expertise to establish a family restaurant and business.
