With a career spanning over 30 years, Mr. Wendfeldt has cultivated a wealth of experience in the fields of education and marketing. Having received a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Heritage University in 1996, he capitalizes on his many strengths in his current positions as director of change and innovation at ATW Enterprises and president at Radical Rugs LLC, where he develops strategies and ideas that aid in the companies' success and outreach. Prior to these roles, Mr. Wendfeldt operated as a senior marketing specialist at Renewal by Andersen from 2015 until 2021 and as the president and chief executive officer at Selah Music Inc. from 1993 until 2003.
Outside of his primary career path, Mr. Wendfeldt is also a professional musician, having released an album titled "The Way" and received a bachelor's degree in music education from Central Washington University. He always held a strong admiration and appreciation for music, and was inspired to pursue a career in music education. He worked extensively with several school districts between 1990 and 2011, including the East Valley School District in Yakima, Washington and the Roosevelt School District and Phoenix Elementary School District #1 in Phoenix, Arizona, operating mainly as a music teacher or public administrator. Despite shifting his focus to his career in marketing and development, Mr. Wendfeldt continues to carry his passion for music through all his endeavors.
Beyond his professional work, Mr. Wendfeldt is also a certified alcohol and drug abuse counselor, as well as a certified guidance counselor, positions he has operated in at the Waitsburg School District in Waitsburg, Washington. Long dedicated to civic advocacy as well, he is a board member and troop leader for the Boy Scouts of America. Furthermore, during his time with the various school districts with which he has worked, he conducted numerous fundraisers as a means to further provide for local communities. He was able to assist in the placement of the first female cadet at the United States Military Academy at West Point, which he considers to be a highlight of his career. Looking toward the future, Mr. Wendfeldt hopes to be able to continue creating and implementing initiatives for change and innovation.
