A talented mechanical engineer, Mr. Holland represents TECASO Consulting LLC as its president, principal and co-founder. Comprised of over 15 experts, he and his team provide solutions-based services to clients, as well as for various products and engineering projects. As a subject matter expert, he specifically offers technical and commercial expertise for the pipeline, process, petrochemical and power sectors, as well as energy asset development. Mr. Holland is also the founder and director of engineering for Allegiant Industrial LLC, which is headquartered in Beaumont, Texas, and provides engineering support to various industrial sectors.
Having led a distinguished career in the field that began in 1971, Mr. Holland joined Mobile Oil Corporation as a construction coordinator of its largest new U.S. refinery and petrochemical complex. Over the next three decades, he worked for a multitude of organizations, including Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. where he rose to become a senior project engineer, Brown & Root Inc. as a power-engineering manager, the Enron Corporation as the vice president of EPC asset development, and Azima as a technical director.
During the course of his professional journey, Mr. Holland had the opportunity to work as a U.S. government energy advisor for the government of Afghanistan, a project director for several multi-billion-dollar energy projects, and a developer of approximately 100 successful projects, having worked on every continent except Antarctica. Earlier in his career, Mr. Holland also served as a contributing editor to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers Cogen Turbo Power, and as an author of articles to professional journals as an expert in his field. Looking toward the future, he hopes to continue collaborating with individuals with whom he previously worked in Iraq.
Locally, Mr. Holland was involved in sports as a soccer, basketball, baseball and swim team coach in Houston. He was also invested with Assisted Christian Ministries in North Houston and served as the vice president of the Houston Civic Association. Mr. Holland is a lifetime member and fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Mr. Holland is also a member of the American Nuclear Society, the American Chemical Society, the American Welding Society, and a board director of the International Gas Turbine Institute.
Mr. Holland graduated with a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at Drexel University in 1968 and a Master of Science in mechanical engineering at Stanford University in 1969. He subsequently enlisted in the U.S. Army, serving as an E4-scientist and engineer between 1969 and 1971. Mr. Holland is a registered professional engineer in Pennsylvania, Texas, California, Ohio and Hawaii. Honored for his achievements, he received the Dean W.R. Woolrich Engineer of the Year Award for South Texas and a Certificate Award from the American Boiler Manufacturers Association.
