Since 2018, Ms. Guerra has been the Chief Executive Officer and Founder for Affirm Family Advocacy, in coordination with Affirm Family Ministries.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA, July 15, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Natalie J. Guerra, MPA, has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
An expert in dependency court advocacy, Ms. Guerra has been a dedicated advocate for the most vulnerable populations for more than fifteen (15) years. Prior to embarking upon her most recent professional journey as a professor of Psychology in Southern California, she earned a Master of Public Administration from Colorado Christian University and a Bachelor's Degree in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton. Following the latter, she served as an investigator for juvenile abuse and neglect in Los Angeles County for ten (10) years, from 2009-2019.
Since 2018, Ms. Guerra has been the Chief Executive Officer and Founder for Affirm Family Advocacy, in coordination with Affirm Family Ministries. In this capacity, she drafts letters and reports for their clients and educates people regarding how to become the best versions of themselves. Additionally, she is a member of the Whittier Chamber of Commerce.
In recognition of her diligence, expertise and public servitude, Ms. Guerra received a commendation from the U.S. Census Bureau in 2020 while serving regions in California, Nevada and Arizona. In 2018, she was honored with an award for serving as a preceptor for the Master of Social Work students at Azusa Pacific University. Contributing her skills and experience to benefiting her community, she currently occupies the role as a regional advocate for an international organization for children in developing countries, Children of the Nations.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Guerra intends to continue developing her role in civic engagement and public policy. She is also seeking to expand Affirm Family Ministries, teaching and preparing others to be the best version of themselves through Jesus Christ. Ms. Guerra affirms she can relate to what some of her clients have gone through as she has gone through her own trials and tribulations. In times of uncertainty and despair, she has relied on her faith in Jesus Christ to sustain her. She attests she has found immense strength while relying on her signature scripture, "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away." (1 Corinthians 13:4-8, New International Version).
