SWEET HOME, OR, July 15, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Orel Ronald Moore with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Moore celebrates many years' experience in his professional network, and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Moore is the owner and chief executive officer of Super Grip Lock (SGL), LLC, a patented piece of technology that prevents burglars and unwanted guests from picking door locks. Working with most standard front doors, the SGL provides security to homeowners. It is also a great tool that can be used on vacation at hotels, in trailer homes and more.
Designed with the assistance of Mr. Moore's wife, Melinda, the SGL is a small, lightweight product that includes a strap that locks down and attaches to the deadbolt and door handle. Working instantly with most standards four- or six-inch deadbolt templates, the SGL prevents outsiders from unlocking the deadbolt. Retailing in the United States for just $10, it is an easy and affordable way to prevent the unthinkable from happening.
Maintaining business operations since 1998, Mr. Moore is responsible for coordinating with his supplier to manufacture the product. He also oversees all the marketing aspects of the business. At just 79 years young, he anticipates retiring soon and finding a replacement to take over the company. Prior to establishing Super Grip Lock, LLC, Mr. Moore owned and operated General Home Security Company and Heirloom Gold Nugget Company. He also worked for a sawmill during the 1970s.
Mr. Moore is a graduate of Myrtle Creek High School. He also completed courses in business at his local community college.
Mr. Moore secured a patent for the SGL in 2001. It has since been endorsed by The National Locksmith, which has been evaluating locks throughout the industry since 1929. It has also gained recognition by the National Neighborhood Watch, the International Association of Police Chiefs and a local police officer.
Receiving a First Place Security Award from the General Home Security Company at the 1996 Invention Convention, Mr. Moore's product was also named to the 10 Most Marketable Products of the Year by the Electronic Retail Association. Additionally, his device was featured in a review of The National Locksmith Magazine and was featured in Police Chief Magazine. More recently, the SGL was introduced on the air on Close-Up Television and Radio in October 2021. The station notably has a large audience of over 2.5 million listeners.
