MCKINNEY, TX, July 19, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Dr. Michael Goddard has been inducted into Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
With more than 20 years of experience to his credit, Dr. Goddard has distinguished himself as an academic administrator. In this capacity, he serves as the superintendent of the Prestonwood Christian Academy, a private Christian school in Plano, Texas. Currently overseeing approximately 2,500 students from grades pre-kindergarten to 12, the academy, which has been in operation for more than 20 years, boasts three campuses and has been recognized as one of the largest private schools in the Dallas area.
Seeking to foster an environment where children can dive deeper into their faith and where teachers can continue expanding their own knowledge, Dr. Goddard excels in his role. In addition to providing leadership and team development, he is also an expert in strategic planning and frequently engages in fundraising events to help provide tuition assistance to those families that need financial support.
As an extension of his career in administration, Dr. Goddard has been serving as the chief executive officer of the Goddard Leadership Group LLC since 2017. He has also served as an adjunct professor at Dallas Baptist University since 2019.

He was also the assistant superintendent for Prosper ISD in Prosper, Texas, the principal for Lovejoy High School, and the administrator for McKinney ISD in McKinney, Texas. Prior to transitioning into education, Dr. Goddard spent approximately 10 years in the corporate sector. Changing careers, he noted, was life changing because it gave him the ability to inspire the next generation to push themselves beyond mediocrity.
For the past 18 years, Dr. Goddard has contributed his time by officiating as a volunteer for the Special Olympics. He has also been active with various other foundations, most of which are associated with religion.
Dr. Goddard received a Bachelor of Arts in public relations and marketing at Stephen F. Austin (SFA) State University in 1994, where he notably played college football as both a quarterback and captain of the football team. He subsequently earned a Doctor of Education in educational leadership and administration at the University of Texas in 2004.
