Driven by his personal motto, "God, family and country," Mr. Salinas joined the United States Navy in 1977. For the following seven years, he excelled as an intermediate-level analyst in aerospace flight guidance systems. Throughout the course of his career, he also served as a board member with USC IMG for a decade and a half, and worked as a commercial and industrial real estate agent, through which he has honed his expertise in project development consulting and real estate development.
Supported by years of experience in real estate, analysis and consulting, Mr. Salinas presently excels as founder and chairman of SHG International, which aims to provide project management guidance to agriculture and advocacy groups that provide care for children, veterans and the elderly through community projects and programs. Though his hard work and dedication have brought him far, he attributes much of his success to his willingness to go beyond what is expected of him and overcome any obstacles in his path.
Outside of his primary career endeavors, Mr. Salinas is a lifetime member with the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Dedicated to those less fortunate, he contributes to his community through his nonprofit, SHG Intl.Org and the American Legion's Area 5, and District 21, through which he has served as a volunteer officer since 2018. In light of his outstanding body of work, he won the Commander's Award through the American Legion and has received recognition through an Athletes in Academics program. In the coming year, Mr. Salinas is appointed as Area 5 Staff Judge Advocate, and American Legion National Communication Commission committee intends to experience the continued growth and success of his career with SHG International Inc,. and the American Legion.
